A Pizza the Action in Moscow
Muscovites got a taste of the West
when two Pizza Hut restaurants opened.
The £3.2m design and build project
was carried out by Taylor Woodrow who not only took
out from the UK around 30 people to work alongside a
multi-national workforce of 70, but also, to ensure
that the best quality materials were used, took may
of these from the UK, including ARDEX Products.
Rapid drying and hardening materials
were chosen for floors to allow them to be trafficked
within 2 to 3 hours; ARDEX
S 16 adhesive was used to fix floor tiles.
Despite the obvious difficulties of
both logistics and linguistics, these two restaurants
could be the first of many Pizza Huts to open in Russia.
