New Factory Benefits from System ARDEX
High performance ARDEX floorcovering adhesives and levelling compounds were applied by Kings Lynn Flooring to provide the perfect flooring system solution for a large new food manufacturing facility, in Haverhill, Suffolk.
The new purpose built 8,000m² manufacturing headquarters of Percy Dalton's Famous Peanut Company, required a durable and cost effective flooring installation, which would withstand the demands of a modern food production environment. As a result of comprehensive research and development, the ARDEX product range provides a totally integrated system solution, which is increasingly being specified for use within a wide range of flooring installations.
To commence, Kings Lynn Flooring, who were initially commissioned by Langwith Builders Limited, applied a levelling layer of ARDEX's multi-award winning ARDITEX RS latex smoothing compound to provide a smooth and flat surface. Consistently selected as the flooring professionals’ preferred choice, ARDITEX RS is ideal for virtually all domestic and commercial locations and has exceptional performance properties, such as ease of use and suitability for use above and below a damp proof membrane.
To fix the Gerflor Tarasafe Ultra floorcovering, ARDEX AF 150 adhesive for PVC sheet and tiles was specified. ARDEX AF 150 incorporates the latest floorcovering adhesives technology and is ideal for use with PVC/vinyl floorcoverings including tiles and sheet with PVC or foam backings. In addition, its solvent free formulation, very low odour and exceptionally high yield make it particularly suitable for use in the most demanding commercial environments.
