Stunning Results from ARDEX Floorcovering Adhesive
and Levelling Compound
ARDEX UK, pioneers in the manufacture and development of premium quality construction products, were delighted to provide the perfect floor screeding and floorcovering adhesive solution for a restaurant refurbishment on behalf of the world’s largest developer of set-top box technology, Pace Micro Technology.
ARDEX worked in conjunction with flooring contractors, Stott Flooring Limited of Bradford, who specified the ARDEX system solution of multi-award winning ARDITEX latex smoothing compound and ARDEX AF 150 adhesive for PVC sheet and tiles, as together they would provide the ideal flooring system for this 800m² restaurant refurbishment project.
ARDITEX latex smoothing compound was applied to the prepared sub-floor, which as expected, performed superbly to deliver an exceptionally smooth, hard and flat surface. For over 30 years ARDITEX has remained the flooring industry’s defacto smoothing compound by consistently providing unsurpassed performance and ease of use for virtually all types of commercial and domestic environments.
The Tarkett Optima Vinyl floorcoverings were then fixed with ARDEX AF 150 adhesive for PVC sheet and tiles. ARDEX AF 150 has established itself as the preferred adhesive for all types of PVC/vinyl, and by combining ARDEX's in-built floorcovering adhesive technology with its solvent free formulation, exceptionally low odour and high yield, a perfect result was achieved.
