20 years after launching it’s first
UK restaurant, McDonald’s are presently opening new
restaurants at a rate of one a day.
Modular construction by companies
such as Yorkon in York enables McDonald’s to realise
this ambitious building programme. The phenomenal speed
of construction is achieved by building the restaurant
in factory conditions and then merely assembling the
fully fitted-out modules on site.
