ARDEX has it Covered at the Garden Centre
ARDEX UK, leading manufacturer of premium quality tile fixing systems were delighted to work in conjunction with Cottrell Brickwork Ceramics Ltd of Ipswich, when they provided the perfect tiling system solution for Norwich’s most modern garden centre, Notcutts.
Notcutts have invested over £2 million on the upgrading of their garden centre, to ensure that it meets the highest standards expected of a modern retailing environment. As part of the project, Cottrell Brickwork Ceramics were sub-contracted by Jackson Building Services, to complete the tiling and grouting within the new kitchen area and customer toilets.
To commence the installation, the recently launched ARDEX X 7 G PLUS grey flexible tile adhesive with built-in admix, was selected to fix the H & R Johnson tiles. Developed to conform to BS EN 12004 C2 TE standards, ARDEX X 7 G PLUS achieves approximately 20% more coverage per kg compared to a traditional cement-based tile adhesive. Incorporating the latest ARDEX adhesives technology for superior performance, ARDEX X 7 G PLUS is ideal for all types of floor and wall tiles, including fully vitrified and porcelain in virtually all types of situations.
The grouting was completed using ARDEX F 4 wall tile grout, which is suitable for tile joints up to 4mm wide and is exceptionally easy to apply and clean off, ensuring a perfect finish to the project.
