Seminar 1 - The Installation of Ceramic Tiling
'The Installation of Ceramic Tiling' is a 30-45 minute presentation by ARDEX UK Limited. It covers the installation of ceramic tiling across a wide range of locations such as commercial and domestic showers, swimming pools and surrounds, etc.

Ceramic tiling is a versatile and durable floor and wall finish when specified and installed correctly. The objective of 'The Installation of Ceramic Tiling' is to cover the essential aspects of correct specification and installation.

The seminar will include the presentation of RIBA assessed summary papers entitled:
'Ceramic Floor Tiling - Avoiding Failures'
'Adhesives and Bedding'

Seminar 2 - Screeding, Levelling and Sub-Floor Preparation
'Screeding, Levelling and Sub-Floor Preparation' is a 30-45 minute presentation by ARDEX UK Limited. It covers the installation of screeds, smoothing compounds, damp proof membranes and rapid drying systems. A wide range of situations will be covered including pumped applications, wear resistant screeds, rapid sub-floor repairs and an overview of fast track flooring construction.

The seminar will include the presentation of RIBA assessed summary papers entitled:
'Screeds and Sub-Floors'
'Methods of testing Floor Screeds'

Both seminars will illustrate the correct specification and application techniques by reference to, British Standards, Codes of Practice, pictures of typical problems and discussions of why such problems occur and how they may be avoided and overcome.
